About the Role:

As a General Practitioner at Highfields & District Medical Centre, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in line with best practice standards. Your role includes:

Key Responsibilities

​

• Providing comprehensive primary healthcare services to patients of all ages.

• Conducting history-taking, diagnosis, treatment, and referrals as needed.

• Managing chronic diseases in accordance with national guidelines.

• Administering vaccinations and ordering diagnostic tests as required.

• Collaborating with specialists, allied health professionals, and nursing staff.

• Ensuring accurate and confidential record-keeping using medical software.

• Maintaining high standards of patient safety, infection control, and quality care.

• After hours on call with rotating roster

 

What We’re Looking For:

​

• Current AHPRA registration as a General Practitioner.

• Vocational Recognition (Fellowship with RACGP or ACRRM preferred) or eligibility.

• Strong clinical skills and commitment to patient-centred care.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Commitment to continuous professional development and quality improvement.
